The weather had been good all week and Örebro was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Vernizzi could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Shelby Rebel sprinted to the front. Shelby Rebel started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Vernizzi sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Vernizzi was still in the lead after 1500m.




Vernizzi kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Shelby Rebel galoped for 40 m. Vernizzi showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Couronne was first on the homestretch followed by Shelby Rebel and Ghostly Daffodil.






Final standings. 1 Ghostly Daffodil, 2 Couronne, 3 Shelby Rebel.
