One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Monkey Boy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Miss Zarah was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




Monkey Boy was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Monkey Boy was still in the lead after 1500m. Helpful Platinum galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Monkey Boy kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Light Top won. Monkey Boy came in second. Miss Zarah caught third place.
