The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Karlshorst this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were K.f. Palema. Can´t Capture ended up behind the leader. Mega Sour got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Backstabbing Velvet sprinted to the front.

Backstabbing Velvet clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Can´t Capture looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Uptown Downtown litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Can´t Capture galop. Can´t Capture lost 40 m. Tim Tetrick tried a little too much on the homestretch and Mega Sour started to galopp and lost 10 m. Carlos Prototype galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Uptown Downtown kept the speed the whole finish and won before K.f. Palema and Jeanne D'arc Z.
