One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Uptown Downtown found a gap and took the lead. Roselia followed before Palo Alto Superior.

Van Grunsven saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Roselia took the lead after 1000m. Van Grunsven didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Sickan Superior saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Sickan Superior kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Sickan Superior kept the speed the whole finish and won before Carlos Plaxton and Jeanne D'arc Z.
