One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Attaboy Lore tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Melbourne Superior that came steaming ahead. Bright Stardust suddenly started to galop. Jaakko Alamäki had to struggle to get Bright Stardust to tror again and succeded after 30 m. When the startcar left the field Magic Sunshine started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pointing Glitter sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Magic Sunshine who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Begbie Lore looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ojsan Deltidsarbetar Som Bromskloss couldn't come out from behind the leader, Pointing Glitter.

Dilbeek Lore looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Dilbeek Lore kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Attaboy Lore made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Dilbeek Lore.
