The sun was shining on Åmål today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Coquelicot was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Per Ludvig Nilsen wanted a little to much in the start and Malkin Judge galoped for 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sébastien Crax sprinted to the front.




De La Warr Ameste sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop De La Warr Ameste today. It continued in the lead.




De La Warr Ameste sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Coquelicot showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. De La Warr Ameste kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sébastien Crax sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
