One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

American Fighter took the lead after a very quick start. Roger Nilsson wanted a little to much in the start and American Fighter galoped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Gorgeous Pony, Voodoo Doll, Aviator Alexa, Heart Puzzle, Wagner, Valente Bia, American Fighter, Front Piece. A bird flew just in front of Calming Steel who started to galop and lost 50 m. Inscribed Cross showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Voodoo Doll sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Voodoo Doll today. It continued in the lead.

Calming Steel seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Valente Bia was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.

Calming Steel sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

American Fighter made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Calming Steel.
