One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Perfect Jive sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Sigue Sigue Sputnik was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Dribbling Bandwagon was disturbed and galoped 20 m.
