The weather had been good all week and Biri was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





High Again tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Starshine Passion that came steaming ahead.




Ultraviolet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




So Technical took the lead after 1000m. Ultraviolet didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Morning Sunshine galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one So Technical followed by Starshine Passion and Wondering Queen. Lane two Ultraviolet followed by High Again and Delmont.




Ultraviolet took the lead.



Ultraviolet looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Ultraviolet didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
