One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Slippery Angel took the lead after a very quick start. Mack was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

Chiappa quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Chiappa today. It continued in the lead.

Chiappa didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Chiappa was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Chiappa kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Slippery Angel made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Chiappa.
