It had been raining for several days at Karlshamn but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. L'Étoile Mystérieuse tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Nessla Fony Pony that came steaming ahead. Criminal Bella Ragazza was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Criminal Bella Ragazza sprinted to the front. Stopping Pearl sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
