Only a humble breeze blew over Östersund this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Carbon found a gap and took the lead. Adventurous Gladiator followed before Aberdeen Angus. Xanthe Opal suddenly started to galop. Tomas B Nilsson had to struggle to get Xanthe Opal to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Xanthe Opal sprinted to the front.




Xanthe Opal clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Xanthe Opal today. It continued in the lead.




Xanthe Opal kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Xanthe Opal sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Scandal Magpie made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Xanthe Opal.
