One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Jumping Thought took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Quick Beard, Jumping Thought, Polished Pearl, Brave Gold, Dead Knight, Because Of You, Dronning Av Stillhet, Power Body. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. Lying Cake showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

The leader got disturbed by something and Brave Gold took the lead rather easily. Polished Pearl galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Brave Gold followed by Dronning Av Stillhet and Frozen Lemonade. Lane two Dead Knight followed by Jumping Thought and Because Of You. Polished Pearl started to gallop after 1500m and Jörgen Westholm had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Lying Cake started to gallop after 1500m and Daniel Olsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Dead Knight suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Jumping Thought made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Dead Knight.
