One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dreist Bestandteil could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Le Lotus Bleu, Dreist Bestandteil, Strong Bullet, Barent Blue, Flying Map, Cocktail Jet, Irony Susie, Mr Runalot. A bird flew just in front of Barent Blue who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Flying Map sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Flying Map was still in the lead after 1500m.

Flying Map looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Phony Falcon never caught up with Flying Map who won. Heavy Comet came third.
