One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Vol Libre sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Dove Crown, Vol Libre, Portable Band, Le Mans, Sowing Maid, , , . A bird flew just in front of Sowing Maid who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Dove Crown was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Vol Libre looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Le Mans suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Dove Crown won. Le Mans came in second. Vol Libre caught third place.
