The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bonaati sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Glittering Sparkle quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Moving General started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. driver couldn't keep Kotona Ihmemaa to trotting so they were disqualified.




Bonaati looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Courageous Printer couldn't come out from behind the leader, Glittering Sparkle.




Glittering Sparkle was still in the lead after 1500m.



Glittering Sparkle were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Glittering Sparkle galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.
