One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Nessla Mistaken Identity. Wereld ended up behind the leader. Jeanne D'arc Z got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Odziv suddenly started to galop. Hannu Torvinen had to struggle to get Odziv to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Florence, Nessla Nicotine, Spijk Z, Nessla Newton's Cradle, Wereld, Nessla Nom De Guerre, Nessla Mistaken Identity, Jeanne D'arc Z.

Spijk Z took the lead after 1000m. Jeanne D'arc Z didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Nessla Newton's Cradle suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Jeanne D'arc Z saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Nessla Nom De Guerre took the lead. Middelie gallopped 20 m after 2000m.

Nessla Nom De Guerre sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Teemu Okkolin tried a little too much on the homestretch and Nessla Newton's Cradle started to galopp and lost 40 m.

Nessla Nom De Guerre kept the speed the whole finish and won before Nessla Mistaken Identity and Jeanne D'arc Z.
