One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Striking Wind could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Hoping Technology quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Space Dreamer sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Steel Gentleman galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Hoping Technology looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Hoping Technology didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Hoping Technology sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Winner of todays race was Hoping Technology. Expensive Wonder came in second. Striking Wind became third. Results
