One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Moantania sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m. When the startcar left the field Leaving Sydney started to galop and lost 50 m.




Moantania was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Stepping Sugar was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Leaving Sydney looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Stepping Sugar couldn't come out from behind the leader, Moantania.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Moantania today. It continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Diamond Flower galoped for 20 m. Moantania kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Diamond Flower was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Winner of todays race was Moantania. Stepping Sugar came in second. Leaving Sydney became third.
