One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Wolfs Law tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Slippery Lizard that came steaming ahead. Olav Mikkelborg wanted a little to much in the start and Nooit Voldaan galoped for 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Sockerbiten, Bishop, Slippery Lizard, Walking Love, Athletic Crusher, Courageous Printer, Wolfs Law, Fast Missile.

Fast Missile looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Brown Factory couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sockerbiten.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sockerbiten today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Slippery Lizard gallopped for 50 m.

Sockerbiten kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Walking Love was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.

Winner of todays race was Sockerbiten. Wolfs Law came in second. Brown Factory became third.
