The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Umåker this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Lying Velvet.
Rainbow Garden ended up behind the leader.
Sioux Rebel got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Rainbow Garden who started to galop and lost 40 m.
Lying Velvet took the lead after 1000m.
Sioux Rebel didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Lying Velvet was still in the lead after 1500m.
Lying Velvet kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Mats Gällerstedt tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Sioux Rebel started to galopp and lost 40 m.
No-one could catch
Lying Velvet today who won before
Rainbow Garden and
Sioux Rebel.
