It had been raining for several days at Solänget but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Handy Paladin took the lead after a very quick start.




Close Movement quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. driver couldn't keep Decisive Sergeant to trotting so they were disqualified.




Glorious Rocket looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Handy Paladin couldn't come out from behind the leader, Close Movement.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Close Movement followed by Glorious Rocket and Sad Man. Lane two Handy Paladin followed by Hieronymus Ameste and Speeding Body.



Close Movement looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Handy Paladin sprinted over the finishline before Close Movement and Glorious Rocket.
