One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Kvarngärdets Tweed tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Abelardo that came steaming ahead.




Abelardo was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Focused Titan started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Kvarngärdets Tweed looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Focused Titan couldn't come out from behind the leader, Abelardo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Abelardo today. It continued in the lead.



Abelardo looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Kvarngärdets Tweed sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
