The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Genivée. Ewing Oil Lore ended up behind the leader. Hard Action got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Lone Mountain suddenly started to galop. Joakim Lövgren had to struggle to get Lone Mountain to tror again and succeded after 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Lone Mountain sprinted to the front.

Ewing Oil Lore looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ren Slik couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lone Mountain.

Ewing Oil Lore saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Ewing Oil Lore kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Lone Mountain gallopped 40 m after 2000m. Carlos Freedom gallopped 30 m after 2000m.

Carlos Twist was first on the homestretch followed by Funky Necklace and Genivée.

Carlos Twist was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

Final standings. 1 Genivée, 2 Ewing Oil Lore, 3 Ren Slik.
