One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Duchková took the lead after a very quick start.




Island Queen saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Island Queen followed by Backstabbing Velvet and Duchková. Lane two Radicchi followed by Blandine and Nessla Lou Doillon. Duchková galloped for 30 m.




Island Queen kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Island Queen were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Backstabbing Velvet won the race after a spectacular finish.
