One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hoping Technology tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Expensive Wonder that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Hoping Technology sprinted to the front.




Cosmo Duff Gordon sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Weg Roem galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Hoping Technology suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Cosmo Duff Gordon was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Athletic Thinking galoped for 10 m. Cosmo Duff Gordon sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Expensive Wonder sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
