Laverne found a gap and took the lead. Slippery Man followed before Mr Jazz.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Laverne clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Laverne was still in the lead after 1500m.



Laverne kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Laverne kept the speed the whole finish and won before Slippery Man and Competitive Scope.
