It had been raining for several days at Oviken but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Force Star took the lead after a very quick start. Ulf Ohlsson wanted a little to much in the start and Force Star galoped for 40 m.
Base Player quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Square One looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that

Work couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Base Player.
Force Star showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Square One looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Work galloped for 50 m.
Square One didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.
Square One looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused
Glorious
Flower galop.
Glorious
Flower lost 50 m.
Winner of todays race was
Square One.
Base Player came in second.
Aim For Goal became third.
