One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Wolly Nugget tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Elegant Ballerina that came steaming ahead. Wondering Breeze quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Wondering Breeze clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Wolly Nugget was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Elegant Ballerina looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Elegant Ballerina sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Falling Madame won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
