It had been raining for several days at Karlshamn but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Carlos Zickan could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Walking Love sprinted to the front.

Honourable Strategy sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Walking Love galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Honourable Strategy was still in the lead after 1500m.

Honourable Strategy was still in the lead after 2000m. Athletic Striker gallopped 40 m after 2000m.

Honourable Strategy was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Walking Love was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Elisabetta was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Honourable Strategy kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Call Home won the race after a spectacular finish.
