One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Nangijala Superior could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Annapurna Cherry suddenly started to galop. Jörgen Westholm had to struggle to get Annapurna Cherry to tror again and succeded after 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Annapurna Cherry, Heavenly Amazon, Flicker, Żgħir, Opposing Sunset, Stopping Pearl, Frosty Fabric, Nangijala Superior.

Flicker sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Żgħir looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Ottawa Superior was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Żgħir sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Heavenly Amazon won. Nangijala Superior came in second. Annapurna Cherry caught third place.
