Only a humble breeze blew over Balmoral Park this day. The track where in perfect shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ride The Sky was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Honrubia sprinted to the front.

Speedy Zeus sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Speedy Zeus followed by Tuber and Dragonpol. Lane two Galileo followed by Training Pegasos and Falling Dancer.

Honrubia showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Speedy Zeus were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Tuber made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before échappé.
