It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Grande Scopare sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

Jolly Sun quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Grande Scopare galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Jolly Sun was still in the lead after 1500m. Base To Base galloped for 20 m.

Påarps Dolores put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Maggiore was disturbed and gallopped for 0 m.

Maggiore was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Jolly Sun suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Flying Power galopped for 10 m on the homestretch. Olle Elfstrand tried a little too much on the homestretch and Flying Power started to galopp and lost 10 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Flying Power galop. Flying Power lost 30 m.

Grande Scopare sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
