One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Maniac found a gap and took the lead.
Lucky
Rose followed before
Splendide. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Famous Fagervik sprinted to the front.
Maniac started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
The leader got disturbed by something and
Turn It Over took the lead rather easily.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Turn It Over today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 30 m.
Famous Fagervik started to gallop after 1500m and Harri Koivunen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Turn It Over was still in the lead after 2000m.
With only a little left of the race
Lucky
Rose galoped for 30 m.
Turn It Over were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Daddy Dj Dynamite galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Daddy Dj Dynamite started to galopp and lost 40 m.
Splendide never caught up with
Turn It Over who won.
Maniac came third.
