The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Eskilstuna this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pas De Limiter could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Lieutenant Boulder, Muzzle, Q Opal, Maximum Printer, Diamond Foot, Growing Fist, Pas De Limiter, Evolution. A bird flew just in front of Lieutenant Boulder who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Lieutenant Boulder was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Lieutenant Boulder was still in the lead after 1500m. Maximum Printer started to gallop after 1500m and Ville Nisonen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Pas De Limiter litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Diamond Foot sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
