The weather had been good all week and Kajaani was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Beautiful Box took the lead after a very quick start.

Revontuli quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. driver couldn't keep Esmee to trotting so they were disqualified.

Revontuli was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Peu Miracle was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Esmee galop. Esmee lost 10 m.

Eternal Peach sprinted over the finishline before Catania and Beautiful Box.
