One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Windy Passion tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Magic Lady that came steaming ahead. Nessla Hefty Hazel showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. When the startcar left the field Windy Passion started to galop and lost 20 m.

Magic Lady took the lead after 1000m. Windy Passion didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Magic Lady followed by Quilly Du Marais and Charming Soldier. Lane two Windy Passion followed by Old General and Nessla Hefty Hazel.



Magic Lady sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Magic Lady kept the speed the whole finish and won before Windy Passion and Charming Soldier.
