The sun was shining on Haapajärvi today. A perfect day for trotting.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Flying Force could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 50 m. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.
There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Flying Force clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.
Flying Force was still in the lead after 1500m.
Flying Force were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Laululintu started to galopp and lost 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused
Laululintu galop.
Laululintu lost 20 m.
Laululintu galoped for 60m and was disqualified.
Winner of todays race was
Flying Force.
Hyppy Juoruta came in second.
Laululintu became third.
