Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Färjestad track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sleeping Necklace could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Hit Me Hard quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Snowy Thrasher took the lead after 1000m. Hit Me Hard didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Sleeping Necklace looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Sleeping Necklace didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Clever Mountain galoped for 50 m. Sleeping Necklace were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
