One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bon Voyage found a gap and took the lead. étoile Magique Jr followed before Brave Trooper. Fosbury Flop was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

étoile Magique Jr quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Metal Crüe sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Metal Crüe followed by Bon Voyage and Alex Stratti Cherry. Lane two Quintus Opal followed by Seal Goes Owowow and Front Bullet. Brave Trooper started to gallop after 1500m and Mats Gällerstedt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Quintus Opal suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

No-one could catch Quintus Opal today who won before Seal Goes Owowow and Metal Crüe.
