Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Jyväskylä track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Starshine Maid could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Starshine Maid clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.



Nessla Jigsaw Sue clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.






Vaccaroni won. Starshine Maid came in second. Nessla Jigsaw Sue caught third place.
