It had been raining for several days at Mantorp but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Nessla Duckface took the lead after a very quick start. This is the positions after 500m. Tripping Top, Running Mistress, Fleur, Nessla Duckface, Flicker, Pointing Diamond, , . The leader got disturbed by something and Running Mistress took the lead rather easily. Pointing Diamond accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Pointing Diamond were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Pointing Diamond didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race. Results
