One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Chambertin. Winkelmann ended up behind the leader. War Pig got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Winkelmann saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Winkelmann clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Winkelmann was still in the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 10 m.

Winkelmann was still in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Crowning Glory galoped for 40 m. Winkelmann sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Crowning Glory galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

No-one could catch Winkelmann today who won before Fromage Fromage and Stronger Than Ever.
