One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cencio sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Focused Lieutenant galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Chantae was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Chantae quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Van Grunsven took the lead after 1000m. Steel Printer didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Van Grunsven today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Bullet M.v. gallopped for 50 m. Ten started to gallop after 1500m and Magnus A Djuse had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Very Magpie gallopped for 30 m.



Nihel was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Van Grunsven were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Ten galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Van Grunsven didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
