One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cour D'or took the lead after a very quick start.




Cour D'or was in fine shape and held the lead.




Closer took the lead after 1000m. Cour D'or didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Closer today. It continued in the lead.



Closer sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Closer. Cour D'or came in second. Coughing Pie became third.
