One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gina found a gap and took the lead. Sonofmellwood Opal followed before You Tah Ameste. Gina was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. Verde Smeraldo galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Slaythemall saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

You Tah Ameste sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Rugged Star looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Gina speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Gold 3 Doors Down galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Sonofmellwood Opal, 2 Rugged Star, 3 Marcy May.
