One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Raymond The Man could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
Mon Fenicas Cherry looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Raymond The Man started to gallop after 1500m and Oskar Svanberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Listening Beard gallopped for 10 m.
Another Spring speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
