The weather had been good all week and Årjäng was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bol Sword was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Strong Band showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Giusto Curioso galloped way to long and was disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Strong Band galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Fundraiser Cherry didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
