One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Carlos Haddock was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Carlos Haddock today. It continued in the lead.




Carlos Haddock didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Carlos Haddock were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Johnny Rori made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Island Queen.
