The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Shailaja sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Tireur D'élite, Stopping Lilac, Klissen Gut, The Admiral, Secret Love, Shailaja, Living Shadow, Honourable Platinum. Solid Folder galloped way to long and was disqualified. Steel Muscle was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




The Admiral looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Living Shadow couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tireur D'élite.
